How to “Subscribe”

I’ve been suggesting that you guys should subscribe to the site, but when you click “RSS Feed” on the right side, it’s not exactly the most helpful result. So now, I’m going to show you how to add Threadless as a Live Bookmark in Firefox. Don’t worry, even if you only understood about three words of that sentence, I’ll show you how easy it is.Look down, in the bottom right corner of your screen. You should see an icon like this:

It may also be orange and say “RSS” on it, instead. And if you have a slightly newer edition of Firefox, you’ll see it in the address bar, to the far right, like this:

Go ahead and click that icon. Don’t be afraid.

A prompt will come up asking you where you want to “store” your brand new Live Bookmark. If it’s not already selected, choose “Bookmarks Toolbar Folder” from the Create In dropdown. This will put a neat little menu right under your address bar. Click it and you’ll be able to see all the new posts on Loves Threadless.com!

It’ll look a lot like this:

Now, you’ll be able to see the latest and greatest posts here just by clicking the bookmark. Click on one of the posts, and it’ll bring you straight here.

If you’re using Internet Explorer, or another browser, you’ll probably be better off using what’s called a Feed Reader. You can subscribe to your feed to MyYahoo or your Google homepage as well, by clicking either of these icons and following their directions:

addtomyyahoo4 Add to Google

If you’re still having trouble getting it to work, just leave a comment or email me: chris [ at ] lovesthreadless.com

Happy subscribing, and remember that you can use the Live Bookmark feature for any site that has that icon!
