That said, I’m just a fan who found the site around the time Wired ran it in their Start section, and I’ve fallen in love with their designs.
I think Threadless is a beautifully unique business model that works well for everyone involved. They’re affordable, they hook up unknown artists and they present relatively limited edition designs that beg for attention and quietly know how much they rock.
As much as I like the concept, I only own (roughly) 8 shirts. Threadless presents something of a miniature Christmas every Monday, when I open up my inbox and see what new designs await, and if any are exactly perfect for me to wear. T-shirt fashion is itself a strange beast, and everyone’s tastes are solely theirs.
My entire idea with this site is to build a nice place to let loose my opinions about the shirt designs outside of the Threadless site itself. Feel free to leave your own commentary or to tip me off to any other fun t-shirt companies or designs you like.
