Threadless made some big changes today, starting with their base prices. They had tried wildly variable prices, based on a shirt’s “print” features and some other factors but today decided to make every shirt $18. This is $3 more than they used to be, but they’re printed on their own shirt stock which is softer (though shrinks more, I’ve noticed) but reduces the crazy variability and is a pretty fair price.
Type Tees are $15 and Selects are $25.
Also, Threadless has nixed the old Thriftee system. There are now three different “mini-sales” going on all the time for three different price points, $9, $12, and $15. This means the Thriftee notifier system is no obsolete, so I’ve turned off the script that pulls from it. I’m glad some of you got some use out of it and landed some $10 shirts in exactly the design and size you were looking for!
Meanwhile, since the sale is over, I don’t think any coupons have been reactivated, but I’ll be checking on that shortly.
