This Week’s Shirts
It’s Monday, and you know what that means! We all need more coffee. Oh, and there’s 9 new Threadless shirts – 7 new prints and 2 reprints.

This is a really clever, thought-provoking shirt. While the colour scheme isn’t what I’m used to, it works well with this print, and it all comes together to tell an important story about our society.
My verdict: 4$

This one’s just cute. It’s a very simple one-colour design, but it looks good!
Verdict: 5$

Judging from the comments, this one is a must-have for chem students and anyone who works in labs. And it’s great for anyone who likes cute Threadless shirts.
Verdict: 5$

Quick question — why would you give a vote of 4$? Why not either a 4, a 5, or a 5$? When you choose 4$ does that mean there are other shirts you like more (all the 5’s and 5$’s) but you’d still buy this one? Does it mean you have so much cheese you’ll buy every 5 and 5$ shirt AND 4$ shirts? I mean, if you’re going to buy it why not give it a 5$? What’s the point of 4$, “I would buy it but I won’t give it a 5 and improve the odds it will be printed”? Does this mean, “I’ll buy it but it will only be my 30th-favorite shirt”? Does it mean, “I won’t buy it but I think other people will so I’ll throw in a $ to help make their dream a reality”? I just don’t get it. To me it is like saying, “this is pretty good, not great, but I’ll buy it”. If that’s the case, why the hell would you buy it? That just doesn’t make sense on a site with hundreds of shirts to choose from.

My thinking was something along the lines of “if I had unlimited cash, I’d buy this shirt because I like it, but in reality I’m a high school student who’s just starting to have cashflow again and I can’t afford to buy full-price shirts unless they are absolutely amazingly stunning.”
The only full-price shirts I’ve bought to date are BEarth and Liberty. And I probably wouldn’t have bought BEarth online (I got it in Chicago.) Every other shirt I own has been a product of the holiday sale, the spring cleaning sale, the $5 rejects, or a Thriftee.
