Sorrow Fills The Silence (Submission, Verdict: 5 + Would Buy)
El vez tries again with this beautiful piece, after I reviewed his Squeeze Blood From Feathers piece in my Decemeberists roundup.
While playing on a similar concept, Sorrow seems to nail it on the head. The girl is emotive and impassioned, and I feel for her.
It’s a striking design, with little room for improvement, though I do wonder what both the crane and the girl might look like with black eyes. Perhaps it’s better left untouched, though.
