It looks like I’ll be holding down the fort (or blog, rather) over the next week since Chris has a lot going on. I’ll try to post as much as possible, but don’t expect a whole lot… I have two tests to study for, a speech outline to finish, and a million other things to do that unfortunately aren’t related to writing about tee shirts.

But enough of excuses and moping. For those of you who haven’t checked Threadless today, a new shirt was announced thanks to “Think Faest Friday”. No, it’s not another Loves competition (thank goodness), but something entirely different. Each Threadless Select tee released during this month of October is created by an artist featured in Faesthetic Magazine. When you purchase one of these special Select tees up until November 1st, you’ll receive a free issue of Faesthetic. This puts a nice spin on Select line and it’s definitely a great bonus considering that the magazine is printed in limited quantities running about $20 each.

The first offering, Fruit of the Negativitree by Ryan Santos, looks pretty sweet (see above). It’s everything we expect from the Threadless line: extra colors, a funky concept, and smashing art. Not to mention it glows.

Hopefully the rest of the Think Faste tees will be similarly awesome. If you’re not ready to part with $25, six new tees from the regular competition plus one new type tee and two reprints hit the shelves on Tuesday. Head over to the Threadless homepage or full catalog to check ‘em out for yourself.
