I adore this. The balance of technology and tradition, the delicate lines, the harmony of colors… everything about it is absolutely lovely.

Best of all, the illustration seems right at home on a shirt. With an odd number of similarly colored objects (three), it draws your gaze around the image rather than letting it stop and settle on just one particular aspect. This is important for any good two-dimensional design, but I think especially for t-shirts. Most people will view the shirt from a distance and it’s not preferable that they focus on only one object and think you’re wearing a big blob on your tee or some other randomly shaped thing. The right balance will hint that they’re merely pieces of a more intricate image, even if not fully recognized until looking closer.

But enough overanalyzing… it’s a beautiful design which I would most definitely wear. By the looks of the comments so far, it seems many voters share my sentiments.
