Scavenger Hunt Winners Announced
First off, I want to thank everybody who gave the scavenger hunt a try. This was my first “solo contest” so I was really hoping that everything would run smoothly. Apart from hidden comment confusion, everything went great and we saw a wonderful turn out of nearly fifty entries.
Because checking every single one of those entries would have been a nightmare (alas, I’m not a super-efficient robot… I’m merely human), I randomly choose the winner from the top ten. I began checking each answer beginning with the earliest entries and kept going until I had ten individuals who had correctly found all ten items. I then used the old-fashioned method of drawing names from a hat to choose winners. I found an unbiased third party, who happened to be my mom (she found the whole process very exciting), to draw the names.
So without further ado, first place goes to Lawrence (Larlar)! Congratulations, you’ll be the recipient of a brand new $25 Threadless gift certificate good for, well, shirts. I’ll be sending you a confirmation e-mail and after you reply to claim your prize, I’ll send along the certificate code.
Second place is awarded to Jenna (super_chouette)! I’ll pimp your STP link and secure you at least three sales (that’s $9 worth of Threadless money).
Once again, thank you to everyone who entered. There were some interesting answers, great comments (both here at LT and in the Threadless blog I created), and I got to chat with some fun people. If you didn’t win, fear not – we will most definitely host more scavenger hunts later on since this one turned out quite well. Chris will also be offering a completely different type of contest in the near future, so stay tuned.

Awesome! Thanks so much for holding the contest, Bree! I have 0 STP as of now, so this is very exciting for me! I think I’ll end one more sentence with an exclamation mark just for good measure!
Seriously, though, I’m really excited right now.
And I had fun looking for the answers, what with the adrenaline pumping and my slooow dialup revealing each product picture one..at..a..time. I’ve been relatively inactive in the Threadless community but this is spurring me on to, you know, rate submissions and get involved and whatnot. So thanks very much, and happy (belated) birthday!
