Banana Nut Bread (Submission, Verdict: 5)

Banana Nut Bread - Threadless, Best T-shirts EverA recipe on a shirt? The idea is just so random it’s clever. It’s like Andy Warhol meets Betty Crocker, and the result is deliciously eye-catching.

If you can read upside-down, in theory you could even wear the shirt while you use it to bake your own tasty loaf of Banana Nut Bread. (You have to admit, the idea of that sounds pretty sweet.) I’m disappointed there’s not a zoomed-in version of the text, but that probably works to the artist’s advantage because nobody can nitpick their grammar.

I think this is the first Threadless Loves Threadless submission we’ve reviewed, but hopefully there will be more to come. The competition runs through July 10th and you can use the links below to view the current submissions, get more information, or to submit your own “trend setting” design.

    Hi,
thanks for the comments on the banana nut bread shirt. i appreciate it. i used to work in a print shop and printed some of these for my friends, and yes they do use the shirts to bake them. haha.
so now, because i do not work at a print shop, because i had to go get a “real job” as my parents would say, and do not have the oppertunity to print shirts anymore, and the awesome prize offered for threadless loves threadless, i thought i would submit it. the grammer in my recipe is funny, but correct as far as i can tell. if it does not win, or end up getting printed i might actually have more of these printed to sell. i have them on my webpage to sell right now, but i only have 3 left, so…. ha ha that is it unless threadless prints them or people tell me they want them.
anyway, thanks for the nice comments. I appreciate it. your site is pretty nice.
    Jess
